We went on a tour through the Sunshine Castle at Bli Bli this morning. Ryan has wanted to go there ever since we drove past it on our way into Maroochydore earlier in the week. He kept saying “I want go castle”:
The castle was originally built in 1972. Apparently Ian Hayne decided to build it after his wife’s collection of dolls became too large. An obvious solution to the problem when you think about it......
Ryan particularly enjoyed the suits of armour and horses:
I particularly enjoyed the miniature soldiers and castles but Kylie wouldn’t let me buy any!!
We drove down to Bribie Island early in the afternoon with limited rain along the way, although rain is forecast for all of the weekend and early next week.
