A big day today!
A pancake breakfast, a morning at the zoo, sex in the middle of the day and a sunset harbour cruise.
On Thursday mornings one of the tour companies puts on a pancake breakfast at the park so we were only too happy to participate.
Afterwards we drove out to the Cairns Tropical Zoo where they had lots of animals including:
We didn’t really see the koalas this time as they were sleeping but we saw a few wombats. Kylie reckons the wombat was just sleeping, but I’m not so sure. What do you think?

Once again Ryan enjoyed feeding the kangaroos. There were heaps of them this time and they were all hungry (and slobbering when you feed them):

Now to the sex. Shame on those of you who thought I was being rude. It was the kangaroos. Kylie noticed that a couple of kangaroos were mating just up the hill inside the ‘petting zoo’.
Another zoo and another teddy bear for Ryan – this time a baby kangaroo. That makes a wombat, hippo and kangaroo now – I’m losing all that extra space in the trailer now…..
We went on a harbour sunset cruise this afternoon. It was quite overcast so we didn’t actually get to see the sunset but it was a nice relaxing cruise nonetheless. This was Ryan’s first time on a boat and he seemed to enjoy it:
